This video says we should wear a mask that is breatheable. How can that prevent transmission or reception of virus?
This video is almost a year old. Now, in Fall 2022, we have learned that 3 layers is better than 2 layers. The breathable part is about using masks that allow oxygen in but not the larger particles like viruses. But we also know that the current strains of Covid are smaller particles, so the best choice is NOT cloth masks but the N-95s. They do a much better job of filtering out viruses. (As a preschool teacher, we are grateful to have learned all of this!)
